One of the best ways to help capture the Certified Angus Beef premium is by using bulls with genetic potential to perform from pasture to plate. The targeting the brand logo denotes our bulls with a minimum marbling EPD (Marb) of +0.65 and a grid value index ($G) of +55 or higher.
This Black Magic son excels at growth and carcass. If you are feeding out cattle, grass finishing, and(or) selling freezer beef, this bull rings the bell.
This Breakthrough son is a heifer safe bull and is average or above in all of his cataloged traits. A deep bodied bull with no holes in his numbers.
We have really liked the Manning offspring. MSU Fortify 028 gained at 4.11 lb/day and is in the top 20% of bulls in the breed in his $Combined economic index, and top 2% for docility.
Are you looking to wean heavier calves? This Black Magic son was the highest gaining bull in the 2020-21 test at 5.13 lb/day for 112 days! His weight per day of age was 3.90 lb/day - pretty amazing, especially when you consider he is a twin.
This bull is a great combination of one of our favorite Ruby of Tiffany cows and Quaker Hill Manning. Nice growth, milk, and carcass traits with an eye-appealing phenotype.
